Early Career and NFL Draft

Jacoby Brissett was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, and played college football at North Carolina State University. In 2016, he was drafted by the New England Patriots in the third round of the NFL Draft.

Brissett spent his first three seasons in New England, serving as Tom Brady's backup quarterback. He made his NFL debut in 2016 and started five games in 2017 while Brady served a four-game suspension.
