Liverpool Suffer Robertson Blow Ahead Of Crucial Clash

Liverpool suffer Robertson blow ahead of crucial clash

Defender dislocates shoulder during Scotland defeat

Andy Robertson has dealt Liverpool a major blow after dislocating his shoulder during Scotland's defeat to Spain on Tuesday night. The full-back was substituted after just 28 minutes of the match and is now a major doubt for Liverpool's upcoming fixtures. Dr Rajpal Brar, a leading shoulder specialist, has said that Robertson is likely to be out for "a few weeks" with the injury.

Robertson's injury is a huge blow for Liverpool, who are already without a number of key players. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Thiago Alcantara, and Luis Diaz are all currently sidelined, and Robertson's absence will leave Jurgen Klopp short of options in defence.

Liverpool are now sweating over Robertson's fitness ahead of their crucial clash with Manchester City on Sunday. The Reds are four points behind the Premier League champions and cannot afford to drop any more points if they want to retain their title.
