The Boston Celtics continued their hot start to the 2022-23 NBA season with a 117-98 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night at the TD Garden.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 32 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists, while Jaylen Brown added 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Marcus Smart also chipped in with 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists.
The Cavaliers were led by Donovan Mitchell, who had 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists. Darius Garland added 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists, and Evan Mobley had 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
The Celtics never trailed in the game, and they led by as many as 25 points in the third quarter. The Cavaliers made a run in the fourth quarter, but they were unable to overcome the Celtics' lead.
